Pay it forward

有一套我這幾年一直很想看的電影，卻總是未有機會觀看，它的名字叫Pay it forward(中譯：讓愛傳出去)，由Kevin Spacey, Helen Hunt及Haley Joel Osment 主演。

Social studies 老師Eugene Simonet(Kevin Spacey)每年都給7th Grade 的學生出這樣一條題目：
"Think of a way to change our world, and put it into action."

班中11 歲的 Trevor(Haley Joel Osment 飾)把這條題目記在心上，他想出了這樣一個念頭：

"If someone did you a favor --
something big, something you couldn't do on your own --
instead of paying it back, you paid it to three people...
And the next day, they each paid it forward to three more...

And the day after that,
those 27 people each paid it forward to another three...
And each day, everyone in turn paid it forward to
three more people...

... In two weeks, that comes to 4,782,969 people...

Have you heard?"

他不單把它想出來，而且化成實際行動。結果，很多人的心被燃燒起來，世界開始改變了...

我們總把自己想得很微小，很微不足道，這個「我」和改變世界沒有任何關係，大家互不相干，我們也繼續在我們的圈子裡鑽營，消耗生命。但當實際關懷出現，我們為眼前每一個近在咫尺的鄰舍去做一點點事情的時候，那點點愛就會開始燃燒，「不望回報，只要讓愛傳出去...」就能成為改變世界的強大動力。

這個題目本來我計劃在舊校的「人際溝通與解難技巧」課跟「Free Hug」一起提出，成為學生的功課，但想不到那麼快便離職了。未知將來還有沒有機會跟一班學生去分享這些題目然後實行呢？結果或會很有趣啊...





只要有夢想，凡事皆可能，只有「不可能」的想法才能把夢想毀掉。
